Share (Savings) Accounts
The UFCW Local 1776 Federal Credit Union encourages all its members to save their money by providing a variety of options to accomplish their goals. With the many options available, we are sure to meet the needs of all our members. We accept Direct Deposit and Payroll Deduction which provides a convenient and easy way for you to deposit money into various accounts with the Credit Union.
Our deposit accounts are federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), which means that your money is safe! This fund is administered by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an independent agency of the U.S. Government.
Regular Share Accounts
This is the basic required account you must have to be a member of the Credit Union. You must always keep a $5 balance in this account to maintain your membership in the Credit Union.
Christmas Club Accounts
Our Christmas Club Account offers a great way to save money for the holidays! Open your Christmas Club Account at anytime and make deposits through direct deposit, mail, or in person. There are no minimum balance requirements. Your money will be automatically transferred into your regular savings account and be available in October of each year.
Special Shares / Vacation Clubs Accounts
These two accounts are another great way to save money. Whether you plan to go to a tropical paradise, to take a ski trip, or take the kids to Disney World, these accounts offer you the ability to save weekly, bi-weekly or monthly through direct deposit or payroll deduction. These accounts function as a regular share account with no minimum balance and with no availability limitations to your funds.
